The main advantages of delivery in drums are the possibility to maintain ample stocks and the ease of handling both in transit and at the destination. This method of packaging is well suited to long distance transport, as between 16 and 20 metric tons of any of the products can be stored in a standard 20-foot container, depending on the type of drum.
